Comment:

The trick to getting an "A" in this class is to memorize the key terms from the chapter; the lectures are useless and there is no application of the material learned. All tests are 50 questions and very easy. Tons of extra credit. The final project is not hard but takes a lot of time - don't put it off.

He assigns easy homework to help boost grades. He grades fairly and tries to help everyone get the grade they want. Final project takes a lot of understanding of the class, but he is always there to help out.

Tests are strictly on vocab and some learning objectives from the book. Learn those, and you'll get your A. mekky's lectures are useless and I never took any notes. TONS of extra credit. Very nice teacher but you have to meet with him if you want to know your grade or keep your own grades because he doesn't believe in posting them online.

Mekky's marketing class was fairly easy. Test's are all out of the book and focus on vocab terms. I earned a high A in this class by averaging a 97 on all tests. I was given a B+ and Ahmed refused to explain the reasoning behind it. He is an older gentleman who has tenure and is no longer here to teach, but to wait for retirement. He gets "sick alo

This class is such a snore!! Attendance is mandatory and by the second day you will think its a joke!! The tests are over basically the vocab and a few learning objectives, I never took any notes because there is nothing to write down, about 2 or 3 slides per class he gets through, his monotone voice will put you to sleep!!

If you have taken ADVG 222 you will be so bored. It's an overview so if you have taken anything advertising, public relation, or most business classes you will be bored. He has a monotone voice and uses about 4 slides in an hour. The class is definately a snore.

Yea, he reads straight from powerpoint and everything is in your book. Remember, go online and take the post-test b/c usually he gets many ?'s from it. He's short and to the point, a quality I appreciate. Tests are basic, but you MUST read the book. He only covers what you need to know to understand the material, not what is on the test. You should know how to read by now, do it, and you'll get an A.
