Comment:

Theres homework due everyday, however, she is not good at communication. Some in the class waited over 4 days to hear back from her. She personally did not teach us anything, everything is from the supersite website. Class is not difficult but it is frustrating to not be able to ask for help or clarification.

Took online. Lots of daily HW, HW website buggy and sometimes annoying, will be video recording yourself speaking on Powerpoint, will interview on skype, must buy headphone with mic, tests can be tricky fillin blank, TorF, write paragraph, and can detect copy n paste, prof is nice but slow to email back--do work , use resourses, you'll pass.

I dont like her at all she is very lazy. She is not accessible at all especially being an online student that is important I am very disappointed. She does not care about her students. She has been a professor for 30 years so she does what she wants. She takes 2 months to grade your assignment and you are left guessing what your grade is.

Comment:

Professor Diaz is such a nice lady!! She loves her students and wants everyone to pass. She also wants the students to learn Spanish, which is why she's there, but she does what she can to ensure you don't have to retake the class. She also brings candy for everyone half the time! Thank you so much, Professora Diaz :)

I took her for my online SPN class, some issues I had w/ her were not posting the final on time & taking weeks to respond to emails, behind on grades too Honestly if you do the online HW & recording exercises on time, put effort into your powerpoints & do the tests, there is NO reason you should not have an A. She is easy to reach on campus though!

She was very unresponsive for the online class; not answering my emails or a phone call. She changed a project one day before it was due because some information on her end did not post online. She asked us to watch a hard-to find movie that we needed for a test without providing any links for it. She did not grade several things until the end.

She's amazing! I really liked her class a lot. I took her for Spanish two and Latin American humanities online. She was very understanding and posted exactly what she expected of us each week. Do the work follow her rubrics and you'll pass with an A.

I took her for SPN I & II and I cannot say enough good things about her. She's so wonderful. She was my favorite teacher ever. Yes, it's a lot of work & for some people it's a turn off. BUT LET ME TELL YOU SHE'S THE BEST. My whole class & I were so sad to leave. We all loved her. She do everything in her power to make sure you pass. JUST TAKE HER!

About 20-30 min of homework every night. Teacher doesn't put in grades until last couple of weeks. A couple powerpoints and oral skype interviews. Overall class is very easy but I spoke spanish. Tests at the end of every month, only about 25 questions, not hard.

I took her for Spanish 1 & 2. She is by far the best professor I've ever had in college. She genuinely cares for all of her students & she wants you to succeed. She's extremely helpful & does her best to help you understand! Gives lots of extra credit! Spanish isn't an easy language, but just do what she says & you will pass the class.

An amazing, caring, and helpful professor. The best teacher at Valencia by far, that I have taken! She's helpful and wants her students to pass. I will definetly be taking her for Spanish 2! Don't think another second, sign up for her now!

I love Aida. She is sweet and funny & full of life. Best class I took at Valencia. Book is $200, homework 4 times a week for 30min & attenadance is 45% of your grade. Easy tests with no tricks, a lot of practice assignments & over 20+ chances for extra credit. Very forgiving & very helpful. I'm taking her for Spanish 2 so I hope for the best! Ahh!

I can't speak for physical classes but online she really doesn't do anything. Just uses the textbooks built in website. The textbook is lackluster and annoying, but I'm getting an A by taking it seriously. I don't feel I'm really learning though, just regurgitating from an open book.

She is usually a month to 2 months behind in grading your presentations and tests unless those tests are completely automatic, then you will get your grade automatically. I thought students had rights as in having their work grades accordingly. Be very, very careful on your accents. Homework everyday, her responses are slow and late, has excuses.

She is a really good teacher. I normally wouldn't grade my teachers but she was awesome. the class had a bunch of homework almost an assignment every day but the however where easy. The only thing i didn't like about this class was that it took her a really long time to grade assignments and tests.

Professor Diaz is a nice, helpful teacher. I know because I took my first Spanish class in her classroom. I wouldn't have known that from her online class. She's completely different. Inattentive while bombarding you with homework due DAILY. Grading takes forever. It's almost as though bothered by students taking her classes online.

She likes to help student if they don't understand. Spanish 2 is really hard but the professor are very helpful! There is a lot of (2-4) presentation like once in every month. There is one group project to presentation the culture! A lot of homeworks on VHl (mon-thur). She does remind you if homework on VHL. It's your responsibility & study hard!

She's an easy grader by all means, however as soon as you start this course, you will be bombarded with an obscene amount of work. Every week there is about 3 hours worth of homework. There is one group project. She is very forgiving though and a great professor, I would definitely retake her class.

Response to emailsin course questions low unless caught online. Work due on certain days & late penalties apply to each. Tests only available Sun-Mon online. Gave me extra credit for accents on a test. Use the language daily then its a breeze. Taking her 1121 just so I know what to expect. E book and code necessary.
