I never studied for this class and got an A. The identification tests were totally easy. We read a lot of stories, but all you need to do is sparknote them or look online for a summary. he is a horrible lecturer though b/c he talks about nothing to do with what is needed for the test.

fyi--cox doesn't grade on attendance or participation, which is always a plus. when he speaks though, he's all over the place and can be pretty boring. however, he's informational and it's cool to hear him speak in old english. he'll be retiring after spring 2004.

I took this class last yr. but thought I would drop a note for those who want to take it. It's pretty simple. You watch lots of King Arthur movies. You write a analytical, creative,&personal essay. It's not hard but it could have been more fun and interesting. Cox made it boring as hell! It was lame!

One of the lamest classes I have had at UOP. Incredibly boring and often unclear. However, he is a nice person and very knowledgably on the subject of British Literature.

While Dr. Cox is very intelligent his lectures are impossible to follow. His "identification" test are insane.

awesome class. prof. cox is wonderful. i'll never forget the hawaiian t-shirts and jeans, not to mention the comic book collection. very helpful, likes tangents sometimes, but has a good atmosphere.
