easiest class ever. i never went, and used sparknotes for the books. he wears some pretty sweet clothes, makes jokes, and mumbles all class. so go to class for a few laughs at the mans expense, but not to expect to learn anything. bottom line, easy class, waste of time. do it for easy credits and move on

Awesome class, so easy. Grading is done almost carelessly, but he is a funny guy. Reminds me of Merlin from the sword and the stone. Easy easy class.

His lectures can be very long and he is hard to hear. He knows a lot of stuff and spends most of class digressing. He hardly ever involves the class in his lectures and enjoys laughing at his own jokes. He grades papers easily and summarizes the reading. He won't teach you anything that you can't learn onlin

Salzberg is in his own world. Extremely Extremely easy grader, the entire class was 3 papers and two tests. You don't have to buy any of the books at all and HE thinks HE is REALLY funny. Mutters an incredible amount and has the worst handwriting in the world. You really don't have to go to class, but i did. The entire class is just him talking.

Salzberg is a jolly old cute guy and very sweet but you can hardly hear him during his lectures and he hardly involves the class in discussions...you do not have to read at all to pass his class but you will be painfully bored and learn hardly anything

Prof. Salzberg goes a bit too in-detail w/what he teaches. We read books and he basically summarizes them from pg. 1. This would be a good class for those who do not like to read or who aren't good English students. However, if you enjoy reading and determining meanings for yourself, you may feel stunted here. Overall, this course is so-so.

Dr. Salzberg is ridiculously easy. I think I attended his class like 7 times all semester and still wind up with a B+. He's really boring and sometimes is hard to hear. I do the work in all my classes but his is such a joke don't bother. He's good to take if you need an extra class and have a large work load since you won't have to devote much here. He's kind of a****to girls sometimes though
