Rachel Olsen is a great professor. Her class was long but never boring. She kept the class very engaged in lectures. She always grading very clearly and reasonably. The workload was very tolerable and never too much. Olsen really helped improve my public speaking skills and always works with her students. Great professor and course.

Mrs. Olsen was one of my favorite professors at this school! She gives good feedback and lets you speak on anything you want. I learned a lot and improved my speaking skills. The final was changed this semester to where the REVEL website makes it. It is just like questions from the quizzes in a different word order. Take her! 3 hours flys by!

She's an experienced public speaker and it shows. Cool lady, super helpful lectures, and great feedback on our presentations. You have to try, but it's rewarding.

This class was basically group project after group project. The class was called creativity and innovation, but rarely did we ever do anything requiring creativity nor innovation. We mainly just learned about entrepreneurship instead. It did not live up to its namesake whatsoever. Beware of group projects, we had around 5 with assigned group mates.

I love Ms. Olsen! Her class was very cool to teach Creativity and Innovation. However, she does run a little long sometimes. It's interesting, but some assignments were a little silly. I would've liked a better syllabus at the beginning and calendar. We thought we were done with class, & then last min. she assigned another project.

She never lets us out early and doesn't really make the class interesting. I don't know if she knows that her subject is boring us all to tears. She just gives a bunch of speeches on how to give speeches. Oh yeah, and she was unclear about what would be on the final so we all bombed it when we should have made an easy A.

Rachel Olsen was a wonderful teacher. I took this class once a week for 3 hours (we didn't always stay that late) and I looked forward to it every time. She made the class interesting and she was so helpful. I learned a lot from this class and I would definitely recommend it.

Olsen is a good teacher and clearly has experience with public speaking. A lot of the class is spent with group presentations about chapters from the book as well as about 4 speeches you'll do through out the semester. If you take the chapter quizzes online (using your notes is recommended) and if you go to class+practice, youll be golden.

Mrs. Olsen is an alright teacher. This class always runs late and that especially sucks since it's a night class. It's pretty boring but as long as you don't have a problem speaking in front of people you should get an A.

Take Olsen for Public Speaking. I took this class one day a week but she always lets the class out early and you're rarely there for the entire 3 hours. I learned a lot in her class and enjoyed going to class.

Very nice lady. I took the class one day a week for three hours and she did a great job making it as interesting as possible. Most days we were out early. If you have to take Public Speaking- take her!

Public speaking was informative and easy. she lets you our early and the presentations. speaches are easy. She can teach you alot, and make it seem like you are not even in class. She is the one to take for public speaking.

She is a good teacher - lectures are interesting, book is easy to read, and quizzes are insanely easy. The only complaint I had is that she doesn't explain the standards she grades against. Its hard to improve on certain things whan you don't know why you got the grade you did, and what you need to work on to do better. Gives easy extra credit too
