Meter was super easy going , funny, and nice. However I didn't really enjoy how he ran his class. It's latin american history and he never used notes--and it's a history class? Literally all lecture. Which was not helpful because we had nothing to study come the tests. So that was weird. However, he cuts like everyone slack since he's so chill.

I really enjoyed his class. He kept the coursework relevant to current events and also interesting. Though there was a lot reading, it was fairly easy and he was super nice. He is willing to do anything to help his students and will help you with anything even after you are out of his class.

Very fun guy, class is very much discussion based. Kind of unorganized teacher and moves around the syllabus a bit, but it's usually in the student's favor. A few reflection essays on films or documentaries, journal entries, midterm, and final.

He's a very fun teacher that hammers home the essentials of learning Spanish, especially the pronunciation. I'd definitely recommend taking 201 over the summer with him if you get the chance. It's a lot of work but it will be worth it. He's very accommodating , understanding, and knowledgeable.

This class goes by fast, and is very interesting. Tests are not that hard, All notes are on the test, and Terms from chapter readings. Hes a great teacher, just keep up with work, only lazy people would say its hard. Im not a native speaker and got an A, average amount of work.

Lesson learned, ladies: don't take a prof just because he's a hottie. This class was HARD. He has very high expectations and I put more work into this class than all my other upper div Span classes. I found myself dreading going to class because even if you did the reading, he would make all the students feel stupid. Take someone else.

At first this class seems crazy and hard. But it's honestly not that bad because it's pretty much all discussion. Then the midterm came and I failed it. I was then hoping just to pass the class. But Meter is a nice guy and isn't looking to fail any1 because he gave me a B!! and I have no idea how that is even possible!! take him! you'll learn a lot

Great teacher. Getting a good grade in this class is possible but you do have to put a lot of time and effort. A lot is expected from students especially those who are native speakers. There are 2 exams which are pretty hard and you have to basically go over all your notes & readings(no review sheet). 1 class presentation and a final project.

tough prof but only because he expects you to do well in his class. demands a lot but definately worth the time. one of the best spanish profs ive ever had. he also is the head of all spanish 2 classes, which means he makes the course for the university...so i would rather take the head of the departmenet for spanish 2 rather than a peon

Funny, very smart and educated, can sometimes be a little cold but he is a really nice guy who would help you out... Highly recommended and pretty cute! Youl'll laugh and learn as well. You get distracted by finding yourself fantasizing about doing him in the middle of class. Watch out!

never missed 1 class! He is funny, HOT & animated & by the end of the semester you understand his jokes even though they are in Spanish.
