Prof Petrov is great! He had one-prob hw assignments for us each class, so he could gauge our pace and go back over any concepts we were lacking. He taught in a non-linear way, which was really helpful b/c you were seeing it more than just once in class, hw, and then on the test. He's also very approachable. (And brought treats on test days!)

If you are fine with working on your own and teaching yourself, then this class will be easy to you. If your used to having learning objectives or practice tests, then do not take this professor. He teaches from a powerpoint and the quiz classes are usually 2-3 chapters behind the lecture. Not a professor for people who need clear explanation.

Outstanding professor. Gives lucid, detailed presentations and has a great rapport with students. Has a natural talent for conveying difficult material in an understandable way to students, in concise fashion. He is quite generous with grades, as well.

Although it was my first class at Wayne State, he allows for a lot of extra credit and the tests are virtually the same as his practice ones. Doesn't really tolerate if you walk in late or talk too much during class, but is really really easy.
