The projects in this class will keep you up in Loveland Hall until the wee hours of the morning, but they are forthe most part very interesting. Faris can be a bit of a hard-ass when it comes to critiques, but she is otherwise very nice and helpful...unless you mess around in class.

SHe is a really great person, funny and friendly and always helpful. However, with those who need it she is never disciplinary enough. Also she is so critical. Her complaints are mostly valid, but others are ridiculous. Expect to spend a lot of time outseide of class working and a few injuries

She is a very good teacher and always willing to help you. She comes up with some very creative ideas for projects. She understands the importance of being exposed to art and has u look up art for your sketchbook and write a few papers on shows. Excellent teacher!!!! Take her!

It is possible to blow this class off and make it through. However, for those who are really interested, she is extremely helpful. She is very enthusiastic about art and teaching which makes class a lot of fun. Learn to love cardboard...its free, after all.

i love this class! she's so laied back and makes class fun. i really like how she gives a good amount of class time to work on the projects. if you go to class on work days, you won't have to work on it outside of class (i like that alot). DON'T MISS CRIT
