He does not live up to what he says. After he saw his poor class rating, he pleaded that the whole class remark him if he promised to make the final exam less difficult than the midterm (which had a 55% class avg), but he lied. The final was murder.

The exams might have been a little bit too hard but they are marked very kindly. I think Ali made a good job teaching ECE 316. It is his first course and then it’s very hard to know were to put the difficulty level. I hope Ali will keep teaching!

The final was insane. The final exam was full of hard calculus concepts and DISTRACTED me from solving the exam using knowledge of ece316 rather than having to remember calculus!The prof has no idea how to write exams.I dont know where waterloo gets profs

He is one of the worst professors in the department of engineering he does not deserve to teach here. He may be a decent lecturer but that is all. His marking scheme is a joke. His exams are impossible and he lies and deceives his students left and right.
