Dr. Trupe is a great professor and English 350 was the best class I have taken at BC. It was fun, we read great YA novels, and had good discussions. You are graded mostly on book presentations, papers, and mini reading quizzes. It was an Easy A and very interesting, especially if you love to read.

Dr. Trupe is a fantastic teacher. I am so grateful that she was my teacher for several classes. Just do the work; if you're unsure about something, talk to her. Here's how awesome she is: I grabbed lunch from the Crimson Cafe and took it to her class, forgetting silverware. Dr. Trupe literally went to her office and got me a spoon for my soup.

Kind of all over with how she graded. My writing improved significantly by the end of the semester and I thought all papers were solid. I felt she graded like the more you write higher the grade. Only A I got on a paper I wrote 4 extra pages whoops. Got a B though I felt an A would be near impossible.

She wasan amazing teacher, and helped to develop a lot of my writing skills. Great teacher if you can get her, DO IT! Your life will remain way easier than that of another professor. She may grade hard but it's only to help expand your growth!

Dr. Trupe is a an extremely sweet woman. She does not always make her assignments clear, but she is very lenient and helpful. She doesn't give a horrible amount of work, but she does give a lot of readings, and she expects you to do all of them. I am taking another class with her next semester, and I would recommend her to others.

Horrible, horrible woman! She's one of the reasons I left BC. She plays favorites, and grades writing pieces based on personal assumptions rather than the work's true literary merit. I HATED her.

this lady is a basket case for real. all over the place, but VERY lenient with due dates. I never knew what was going on in class...but part of that had to due with playing on the computer the whole time. Nice and genuine lady though.
