Good amount of reading that isn't challenging. If you pay attention, get the concept and participate in class, you should be fine. Plus, some of the readings are definitely interesting to read.

Great professor. Readings are very insightful and so are classroom the discussions. I don't think there is a professor I have met who cares more about their students; if you show effort in her class, she will be of extraordinary support to you.

Must take! Rare to find a professor of this caliber at CUNY. She is brilliant, kind and presents complex theoretical material in a clear matter. Readings are online and assignments are hand-in written work. Truly passionate about teaching, her students and willing to help in anyway possible. Best PS course ive taken in my undergraduate career!!

Professor Cole is the most amazing professor. Class is discussion based and always extremely fascinating. You must do the readings/responses and try to participate, but besides that there are not many requirements. TAKE HER! So worth it.

Great Professor and definitely an interesting class if you don't mind doing a lot of reading and writing. The lectures are interesting and are more like group discussions. Members in the class can actively engage with one another and the professor to express their view points and ask questions. Would definitely recommend.

Readings are able to print, no txtbk needed. Grade based off participation,midterm/final and collection of reading notes from the semester. Her lectures are extremely clear about the material, tests are fair. She is a good grader and above all willing to accommodate you. One of the nicest professors I have had and I highly recommend.

I'm currently taking this class & the readings are extremely long & ambiguous, you never understand the reading until you get to class & she explains. I guess if you have an extreme liking for philosophers & political theory you will enjoy this class. Other wise stay away. I may end up taking a 'W' bc I don't want to hurt my GPA.

She's a very nice person and an easy grader because she's so "open", which is a philosophy with which I don't entirely agree. It's difficult to learn in her class.

Brilliant teacher. Inspired me to take PS major. Do the reading and you will find the class fascinating, skip the reading even once and be totally lost. Class structure is mostly group discussion which keeps it lively with very informal atmosphere. She's very friendly and approachable.

Great professor! You should see her lecturing on feminism! One of the most enjoyable classes I've ever had! Cant wait to read her book - The Cult of True Victimhood: From the War on Welfare to the War on Terror. The most important thing is to attend her classes. If you dont, you will get lost in political thinkers. And take notes

You have to keep up with the readings to do well in this class. The class on victimization was extremely interesting and students were able to choose a topic to expand on a various aspect of victimhood with the guidance of a extremely helpful professor. She is highly recommended.

Defenitely not easy for a 100 level course. A well educated woman, and defenitely projects concepts well. If you are looking for one of those professors who is a pushover and will give an easy A for a half-ass student do not take her class. Defenitely one of my favorite teachers since I've been in college. It is nice to see someone push students

shes an amazing teacher but really tough! she's very smart and teaches well but if you don't know a lot about politics and history of the government then it's kinda hard to catch on! she wants you to do well but doesn't mind giving out C's on the papers. homeworks every week...wouldn't take it unless you have to or really like political science.

Ver hard for a 100 level class. You go in to the final blind folded becasue it could be on anything that has been covered. Dont take unless you really have to.

Loved this professor!!! She was always available during office hours and genuinely wanted students to succeed. The lectures and discussions made the 3 hours seem like half the time. Very passionate about the feminist movement, yet knowledgeable in political science. Definetly hope to have her again....

Hands down my favorite professor for polisci. Her feminist theory class is the best. She is extremely knowledgeable & has a lot to offer. Expect you to do your readings & work, but she is lenient (flexible with due dates) & super understanding. You're losing out if you don't take her classes.
