Mixed feelings here. Heidi was great to me for 3 years, and then I felt rather stabbed in the back when it came to getting into a grad school. She didn't have time to write me a letter of rec. I was one of her better students and received more awards. than any student there at the time. I considered her a friend and was shocked at the way she treated me after I left. Still have hard feelings there. Oh well, I got into where I wanted anyway and am doing fine. Maybe it was a misunderstanding.

Heidi was the best prof I had at OU, hands down. Very fair, intelligent and a diligent advisor to boot. Excellent balance of technical skills, theory and asthetic.
