I hope this is anonymous because Im about to tear her apart. First of all Im taking a Sofiology class not a class on bigotry and poor politic education. Sometimes we sit in class for a full 50 minutes and all she does is spout off about her love for Hillary Clinton, Communism and how Donald Trump is not her president when the sad truth is, he is.

Amanis enter class is her shoving her beliefs down your throat. There is no clear indicator what she may be talking about. Tries to hard to be funny, but other than that its not too bad. my group and i used to count how many times in a lecture she would say those quotes after her pointless slides. Well worth taking her class. I would def. take her again for a gen. ed in the future! Exams are online and you get a lot of group projects which are easy if you participate. She grades fairly too based on each student, not the group.

Guys, I am warning you that amani is pretty crazy. But she is the FUNNIEST person i have ever met. She seriously reads maybe one slide and then talks jibberish. Easy in class work but make sure you go!!! This was like an easy A for me. Her tests are online and so is the final! Very understanding. All of her work is group work so be ready for that.

Listen. Im going to be real with yall. She lectures like 3 of her slides and then talks about random "examples" of things. She grades terribly, by that i mean she will check it and tell you that you did good and its right then she will mark it wrong. Avoid at all costs!!

For the first few weeks of class she couldnt even figure out her log in information for the textbook's practice quizzes. Her lectures and the textbook information are completely different but the tests are about the textbook information. When she is trying to explain a concept, you still have no idea what she's talking about. She does extra credit.

Awwad teaches based on her beliefs and her research, I wouldnt recommend her. She grades based on a "progress report" which will have you wondering what your grade actually is. Although she teaches on her personal beliefs, the test will be based on the textbook and even then, it will remain unclear. Avoid her if you can, she's not horrible.

Awwad treats you like an equal. She will refer to you as colleagues instead of students. She can be funny, a little hard to understand sometimes, and shes without a doubt crazy! But she is a good teacher. You want to pass the class? Come to class, read each chapter in the book and you'll be golden

I thought she was a great professor. She really pays attention to attendance, but if you don't miss more than 3 you get extra credit at the end of the semester. I originally was nervous about passing the class but I ended up with a B. Don't take the class if you don't like Sociology, working hard and are offended easily.
