Honestly, I look forward to Hopen's class. It is true that he barely teaches sociology, but he gives life long lessons and is HILARIOUS! If you are the type of student who likes a teacher with a GREAT sense of humor and are willing to study his study guide (EVERYTHING is on his study guides, so if u study ur fine) take his class! You'll get a kick

When it comes to teaching sociology, he is not the brightest crayon in the box. If you do not want to actually learn about sociology, take him. When he is teaching,his favorite subject to talk about is his wife, being a used car dealer, and buffalo.

I dropped out of his class. Enough said. He talks about nothing. No notes or anything helpful. Drink a lot of caffenine before his class. otherwise he would put you in sleep. I know. after my first test I was gone. DO NOT TAKE HIM.

Jumps from subject to subject so much, nobody knows what the hell he is talking about, but it is never what we are supposed to be. He gives no notes, but instead, you talk about the Superbowl and watch a video on Bison. Yet, his tests have 50 questions , half of which aren't in the book. Avoid him!
