Late 80s, early 90s. I majored in Dillon. I took every single class the man offered. His classroom antics are legend, his knowledge of the classic texts impeccable... all that and a dedicated poet himself. He loved teaching and genuinely cared about his students. A great man.

Best professor I ever had at Flagler College or at any of the other three colleges/universities I attended over the years. Yes, he was passionate about writing, Shakespeare, Milton, poetry...but he really cared about his students. I am a better writer and a better person because of him. Thanks, Dr. Dillon...you're the best!

One of my all time favorite professors. I day dream of my days back in his Shakespeare class and only wish I could still be his student now that I am graduate school. More fun and insightful. I loved having class in the classroom below him, where I could here him shouting and jumping about above us. God I miss that class!

I took his class back in the late 90's. He was the best teacher I ever had... so animated, energetic & inspiring. I got off the elevator one morning heading to class & overheard him yelping (acting out a part of some story), I peaked thru the door window & there he was "dancing" about, I thought I got to take this class! So I did. Loved it!

Great prof. Very energetic, especially for a class I had no interest in prior to taking it. He was a so much fun to be in class with and truly inspired his students.

There is a LOT of reading to do in this class but Dillon is so passionate with the material it makes every bit of reading worth it. He classes were a bit long and dragging but when you'd least expect it, he'd do something crazy like dance around the room and talk in an amusing voice.

Four years of college and three of grad school and Dr. Dillon still rates in the top two of all the professors I've ever dealt with. His classes require thought, but they're also a blast.

Dr. Dillon is the most energetic old man I have ever seen. He really loves the literature he teaches and imparts that to students. One of the best classes I took at Flagler.

Really *feels* the Lit he teaches; cares more about what the student is learning than memorization of names, dates, and quotes.
