I thought Regional Geography would be fun. I think not. He doesn't follow the book and his notes are not clear. He acts like all students should come to class with all the knowledge he has. he talked too much about his African adventure and not enough about what he wanted us to learn. tests weren't always from notes or book.

I'm surprised by the bad reviews that he has received. He is the best teacher I've had so far at Mott. He has a tendency to put people on the spot and roll his eyes if you bore him, though. His grading scale is tough, but fair. He is always willing to help! I highly recommend him.

at the beginning of the year, i didnt like him. but as the semester progressed i realized what a good teacher he was. his ego is a bit big, but he is helpful and very knowledgable about the world. i highly recommend him

His insights into the postmodern nature of the global episteme are remarkable. Foucault, Derida, Escobar...he trumps them all. Contemporary, ecclectic, irreverent, iconoclast...Huddy is it.

This guy is not a teacher I recommend at all. He is all about group work, all about speeches all about putting people on the spot. So if your down for that kind of thing then get him. If not then stay away from this guy.

Mr. Huddy's approach to teaching Geography is all-encompassing. His class is challenging, but entertaining, and you will walk out of it learning more about every aspect of world regions than you could have ever expected. Excellent instructor.

Huddy has a definite passion for both teaching and his field, and he gets you thinking about the world a bit differently. His tests are good but challenging, and the paper requires real research, but you will leave having actually learned something.
