I literally love this guy. By far one of the best professors I have had in my entire college career (I'm a senior). To say he's caring and extremely considerate is an understatement. He made this class so easy for me. Tests are two parts- one in class part and another take home part - YES TAKE HOME TEST! Homework isn't bad at all. God bless him tbh

Comment:

He's very funny and likes to crack jokes in class and mention his engineering class. He won't be teaching anymore because something happened to his mom. He lets us text him whenever we need to talk to him and he always responds. The math is hard but he goes over the concepts in class. He has an accent so it's hard to understand him sometimes.

Very hard tests and Mok can be hard to understand due to accent and when teaching he makes mistakes so it always messed me and my notes up having to go back and fix along with catching back up again and not missing any information. With that being said, he is very understanding! Maybe if i spoke up more grade wouldve been higher!

His tests were challenging for me, I would always practice the review multiple times and still was unable to pass the tests. With that being said, Mok is very understanding and willing to help all of his students!

This class was great, my favorite of the spring. Mr. Mok was a good teacher, would lecture for half the semester on the lessons assigned, and the second half of the semester he left us to complete the various projects. Subject itself was interesting and he was very laid back. Got grades back in a timely manner.

Comment:

I took him for his graphics class for engineers and he was by far one of the best. Only thing I can say something bad is that we had to teach ourselves in the class. I really wish he taught the content because it can be challenging. But despite that, he is understanding, he understands that full-time students have lives outside of class! Great guy!

HATE math but Mr. Mok is a good teacher. He is fair and hilarious. Not an easy course but if you have any questions, he will help you to the best of his ability. I would take this class again only if he was teaching it.

Professor Mok does work with you and tries to help, however he does not respond to emails, he gives you his phone number but doesn't really answer calls or txt, he slow with putting up grades and talks about his engineering program a lot, I think he is more interested in it more than his Math class

I think a lot of people misunderstand him. He has the students' interest at heart and he may be confusing sometimes but he is still a good teacher. It is really hard to fail his class. Just show up and if he sees that you are trying he won't fail you.

I took his class twice and still had trouble understanding his teaching method. I explained to him that not everyone can learn by looking at power points and needs to incorprate hands on teaching. He didn't understand what I meant or it was a language barrier. He does not give extra credit eventhough he says do this for extra credit. Very upseting.

He is a great teacher, he explains problems all the way through, and makes the class fun. I enoyed being his student and to top it all off, he was very nice to everyone and was always attentive in the mathlab. Yes you need to teach your self in a way, but thats how you learn, but he is always there to he]p no matter what. -Thank you Mr. Mok!!

Not the best teacher, but is willing to help if you ask. Be prepared to teach yourself, he expected us to already know what we were learning. Took the class over the summer and spent most of my time teaching myself from Mymathlab. Be willing to spend the time online and definitely use the practice test, they will be your saving grace!

Easiest A in a Math class I have ever received but you do have to study study, study! It's almost like teaching yourself in this class, though. Well, if you show up to class and put in the effort simply by showing up and class participation, there is no reason why you shouldn't pass this class.

Not a good teacher. Does not like to be criticized. He thinks you should know the material already. He talked about engineering most of the time I was in class. I did not understand anything at all that he taught. He wanted us to agree not understand. I have to understand what I am supposed to be taught.

Mr. Mok is a good teacher, he is willing to help you at any hour of the day/night, he moves kind of quick through the lessons, but if you are WILLING to put the required time into this course, you should have no problem passing! Very laid back in class as well!
