Once I came to terms with the fact that I HAD to listen to him, I realized he was actually quite interesting. I love the old guy, I look forward to taking more classes with him!

I like this teacher but I'm inclined to agree with some of the other comments - his grading policy isn't always clear, it's impossible to predict what you'll be tested on, and despite the fact that his lectures can go off on a complete tangent, you have to pay attention anyway because some obscure point will inevitably end up on the test. That said, he really is a smart guy, and you can take away some good ideas from his classes.

he talks in circles about absolutly nothing and usually put me in a coma during the class but the tests are pretty easy as long as you read the material

Comment:
he does seem to ramble about unrelated topics, but if you've got any intelligence at all you will see the underlying message. if you expect a professor to spit facts at you and not force you to think, this is not the one. he is brilliant, kind, and very helpful when you need it. the key to doing well in his classes is listen and look for the message behind the ramble. he's brilliant, and brilliant people are often difficult to understand. i'll miss him.

I remember Dr Cebulla from a long time ago. His classes were fun and he was helpful (every prof at Hiram was back then). My most prominent memory is when Dr Cebulla told the class about the pros and cons of breast feeding (I was 18 years old!)

For supposedly being one of the most open minded people we'll meet, he does not tolerate anyone's opinions that differs from his own.His lectures rarely touch upon psyc and you are tested SOLEY on his stories and unorganized lectures! grr!

Talks in circles, but questions are straight from your notes. At first he may seem really difficult, but if you have a question or you don't understand, he'll sit down and go over the test and what you did wrong.

This professor tries to get his students politically and socialy involved in the world around them. it is a SHAME that he will be retiring and he will be dearly missed by those who understand the depths of his teachings. he is a brilliant and well read

He talks for the entire time and goes on and on about teh same topic. Not very interesting but he wants students to do well but doesn't do much to help. He tests over 3 chapters at a time!

He is unclear in his lectures, and often talks in circles. Luckily for anyone who has yet to take psychology or and prospects, he is retiring at the end of this year. So you are fortunate
