The Professor is not prepared for the test because he would do the test the last minute and it doesn't give the specific topics to study . The final was all about generics . If you can try to avoid it .

He is a good Professor, but for Advanced Database Principles, the main lesson he covers is the multitude of ways a DBA can get fired. Every class, 3 or 4 new ways of getting fired are described. I definitely recommend this class to other students.

He is very helpful if you go to his office because he will go over again if you didn't understand something but he grades hard because he will not give you an A but A- even if you did right he will find a error and sometimes he is sarcastic .

He is a senile, incompetent professor. I literally did the work for me and several other classmates, turned in 4 of the same assignments, and I received a lower grade than anyone else in the class even though I did the highest level of work. He doesn't know the material well enough to teach it, I had to answer the classes questions.

Professor Pletch was one of the best professors that I had in the Comp Sci department. If it wasn't for him and his Database Principles class, I wouldn't be able to do what I do for a living!

My God does this guy know his stuff. For his age, he is amazingly up to date too. He will give a lot of work but will show you respect and friendship if he sees that you are motivated. Spends tons of time helping students. He's my favorite prof. so fa

He is a good teacher, course is not too difficult, but not a breeze. Curved final average is nice. He is nice and helpful, but his office hours weren't good for me. Writes real fast, talks real fast... but explains everything well.
