Comment:

The midterm and the final paper were the only two grades in this class, making it rather difficult to get a decent grade if you did poorly on either assignment. The lectures were interesting I guess, but topics tended to drift around a little. The final paper was a 12 page "memo"-interesting concept. Quite a bit of reading and just two grades!

Comment:

Great class. I learned so much about Russian Foreign Policy. Prof. Stent is a genius who knows so much about the subject and presents it in a way that's very easy to understand. The readings were more or less helpful, and the work consisted of a midterm and a final "memo" to Pres. Putin. If you're interested in Russia, take the class.
