Tough grader on quizzes. You have to ither get an 80% or higher or else it's automatically dropped to a 0%. Great lecturer, can be a little fast at times just ask her to slow down. Hard class make sure you're not taking any other tough classes while taking this one.

Her class is tough. She gives two huge projects that have tight timelines. She doesn't understand students aren't only students but also have lives outside of school. She is a tough grader and actually requires her students to work. Good bye social life.

She's a great teacher although a little scattered sometimes. If you pay attention in class and do the reading you should be fine, the weekly quizzes are group ones and multiple choice so they aren't that hard. The term paper is time consuming but isn't too hard. The final isn't bad, its just a short answer question that she gives you ahead of time.

Professor LeBar is a wonderful woman. At first it seems like shes a bit scatterbrained but quickly you come to realize she will be one of the most influentialt professors you will have at Eastern. Also if you are a History major shes your advisor so shes very willing to help. Go to class, participate In discussion, and ask questions. You'll be fine

Vague instructions on assignments that are sometimes assigned in class sometimes on canvas and sometimes through the syllabus. You won't know what is expected until you get your work graded. Hints at what she wants rather then saying it. It was a very stressful class because of the unclear directions and surprise expectations.

Prof Le Bar is very educated in her field. However, the first two weeks are painful. Gives study guide for test, USE ALL THE TERMS for max credit. After the midterm it gets better. Group projects that are educational. Very open for giving help. She's someone you want as a reference later on.

The quantity of work we did during this course was a killer. My brother in law took the same course with another instructor and had nowhere near the work load I did. I was working my butt off every week to keep up with the load all the way until the very last day of finals. No breaks, not an easy grader. Lockdown browser mandatory.

You work a lot in this class, but you also learn a lot. Expect a lot of projects from Dr. Le Bar. Luckily, she is very willing to help you and proofread your essays before turning them in. With a little effort, a 4.0 is definitely attainable! She's a really sweet professor, too. Read the materials, discuss a little, and you should be golden!

While she is a nice lady, she is not a good professor. She assigns the worst essay topics, and doesn't explain them well- not even after you receive a disappointing grade. Her expectations are very unclear. I usually get a 4.0 in my history classes, but she gave me my only 3.6. Super disappointed I took her class.

Her class is not easy to pass. There is a quiz every week, pointless discussions, a term paper, and an unfair final. The final is what will make or break your grade, along with the term paper. The term paper is not hard at all, just make sure you do it on something you are interested in. The final is stupid, that's all I can say about it.

Okay class. The essays were very interesting, and the quizzes were fairly easy if you do the reading. Her lectures were the most boring thing I've ever heard, thank god I had my computer with internet access. You don't really need to listen to the lectures, but it's good to go even if you don't pay attention. Easy final, easy grader. I'd recommend.

Can get pretty intense at time in course work. Class met on 3x a week. Lots of out of class readings. Some writing. More reading than writing. Just go to class, pay attention to the details she is looking for, and you will be fine. She is willing to bend over backwards to make sure you are getting things done the way she wants.
