Anne talks and covers material wayy too fast! She makes it very hard to achieve an A or B. I still don't understand her grading techniques on her papers; it kind of seems like it's her way or the highway. On the flipside, it's nice to have notes for the midterms and finals. That's about all i liked about her. She shows little interest in her job.

She basically wants you to reiterate her lectures on your papers that are due. She wants herself on paper and if you give your opinion she marks you down. She only wants the facts that she has given in lecture or that are in the book. Very tough grading and grades very hard on English and grammar. Would not take again.

Anne Exton is a very knowledgable historian, but a poor teacher. The detail she expects in papers is unreasonable and impossible to fit in the 3-4 pages she assignes. I doubled it, but she still aske for more detail. In order to get a decent grade you must include EVERY DETAIL from thes texts and lectures. DO NOT TAKE EXTON IF YOU CAN AVOID IT!!!

What a nice teacher! I went into her class hating history and throughout every class, she really inspired me to respect the subject! She's really good with details. But if you don't take notes, you won't pass...out of all the 5 classes I took that semester, hers was the best!

She real knows her material and presents it so it's fun and inspiring. She's one of the best lecturers I've ever had (okay, I've only had 4-5.) Hard grader, tho; Don't think you get points for showing up.
