I took her for Calc 1 and she was so clear with the material. I went to see her whenever I did not understand something and she always helped! She makes lecture fun and understanding. Do the homework and study the review sheets for the tests and you will do great. 15/10 recommend her!!

Best math teacher I've ever had. The pace for statistics is fast. There is a lot to cover. I was very intimidated by this course and had a sort of mental block up. I asked Jowsey if I could meet with her a couple times a week to review our class lessons and she happily agreed. I ended up mastering the material earning an A in class and 93 on final

worst teacher I have ever had. teaches way to quickly. shell do one example in the notes then youll have a quiz and homework due the next class based on that one example she taught you. gives a quiz basically very class or every other class. she teaches quickly then overwhelms you with way to much work. she can have a bad attitude too.

Jowsey goes really fast when teaching and there's HW due every single class. That being said she explains things better than any math teacher I've ever had and does a great job helping you if you're really not understanding something.

I am not a math person but Jowsey made statistics understandable. I met with her several times after class and she was always available for extra help. Expect a lot of assignments but she drops a lot of the lowest grades.

I was never a math person until I took Statistics with Professor Jowsey. Her lectures were very clear and she was always willing to help if you needed it. Her homework's were impossible to fail and her tests and quizzes were very fair. I sucked at math until i took her class and now I am an accounting major. I love her! Amazing professor.

She is very nice and takes her job seriously. She will make time for you out of class if you need help. That is what i liked most about her. Sometimes you can loose her during class so it helps to get extra help. As long as you put time into her class it is not to bad.

Very helpful. Moves fast, but will slow down if you ask her. Very nice and will take extra time outside class to help. One of the best math instructors at NCCC. As long as you try and communicate with her, she will take time to help you.

If you're the type of student who needs topics explained in depth and need extra help I don't recommend this professor. I had her tried to go to her for help and she was never available. She made me take a quiz one time even though i was absent the day before and it was on brand new material she taught.

I REALLY STINK at math, and was terrified to take statistics. I managed a B in Mrs. Jowsey's class. She really knows her stuff, is super friendly and makes herself available after class if you need extra help. Don't miss many classes ! If you show up for class and put forth some effort, you will succeed in this class.

Mr. Jowsey is a very friendly teacher, and explains concepts clearly. Often, before introducing an important topic she will explain why it applies, or give a problem you cant solve without the new topic. Helps to see the big picture, and the practical application of things. I love her teaching style. I wasnt big on math, but she made calculus fun

She does her best to make statistics easy. I?m not the strongest at math but managed a B+. You get to use a formula card all the time. Plus you get to drop one test about 3 quizzes and hw is done online.
