This was a great "United States, 1914-1945" course. Krulikowski is smart, organized, and helpful. The class was full of non-majors like me, but we had no problems (so long as we did the assignments).

An OK class. Lectures are very dry as Krulikowski just speaks for 50 minutes and sometimes its hard to pay attention. She does not write anything down or use any visual aids. Your entire grade is based on 3 exams consisting of 2 essays each. Essay prompts are provided before each exam. No cumulative final. It is challenging to do well on the essays

do notttttttt take this class. all tests are completely essay and she grades very very hard. no matter how much you study if you're not good at writing under pressure you will forget everything come test time. if you are good at it however, and are good at cramming and know a lot about us history, maybe you won't do too bad.

RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't sign up you have no idea what you are getting into. 1 hr and 15 minutes never felt longer, she grades harshly, talks all day long, and whatever you do read the primary source documents and participate.

Dr. Krulikowski is a good lecturer. She makes the class interesting and gives really good notes. There are 3 essay exams, and she gives you the questions before the test so you can prepare. Make sure to read the primary sources she assigns and the textbook. Keep up with the readings or you'll fall behind. Come to class prepared and you'll be fine!

Professor Krulikowski is very fair and does an excellent job and keeping people in the time being discussed so people can reaslistically relate. She fosters interaction and has a good balance of reading and documentaries. Very fair and knowledgable on the subject matter. Highly recommend.
