He is a really sweet professor and provides ample opportunities for his students to earn extra credit. He gives 3 tests, 30% each, but provides an extra credit that enables students to earn up to 8 points on each test. There are also 5 extra essays that can be written. Attendance does not count but if you don't go, you should study your butt off.

Anthony Grande is actually a very nice person. He occasionally cracks jokes and smiles all the time. In regards to this class, he is very test heavy. There are 3 tests, each worth 30 percent of your grade. He makes you memorize continents, rivers, mountains, deserts, and landforms for each test even though they don't pertain. His tests are hard.

Prof. Grande is such a gem. As long as you pay attention and go over slides then you should be fine. He wants all his students to do good, he provides A LOT of extra credit. The textbooks are helpful for extra credit but otherwise everything on tests come from the slides which are posted online after lecture.

Prepare for a lot of information but easy A. Attendance is mandatory but he provides all the notes online. The lectures are a lot but his study guides are VERY thorough. Theres only a few tests and HWs but they're easy (be grateful for his study guides). SUPER GENEROUS WITH EXTRA CREDIT, he genuinely wants everyone to get a good grade.

He is ok, get ready to study A LOT. Lectures are boring and tests include a lot of info that was not expressed in class. To do well you need to MEMORIZE the study guides in and out. Don't take his class if you have no clue of anything regarding Geography

He is a very knowledgable professor whom truly loves what he teaches. If you need this as a pre-req definitely take this class if not don't. Tests are heavy on the memorization of definitions and places/landscapes.

This class was very difficult. there was a study guide for each test but you had to REALLY study in order to pass. each test was at least 80 questions and in detail. if you want an easy A and aren't great at geography i don't recommend taking this class. he was a very nice teacher and was clear on everything required for the class.

He's seriously such a nice guy, but his lectures are so boring. had him for 9:45 class, not too early and it was a struggle to stay awake. this is not an easy A. his tests are very long and extremely hard. you have 3 tests and 2 essays. gives extra credit if needed but it barely helps. don't take if you want an easy A.

He's a really sweet professor, and he's very good at explaining concepts to make them clear. His homeworks are tedious, but not outrageously difficult. The exams WILL mess you up if you don't study, however. There's absolutely no way you'll pass the midterm/final if you don't study. I definitely wouldn't mind taking him again.

He is by far the best professor i ever had. His lectures are clear, however there's lots of memorization involved for tests. He gives lots of extra credits (for those in need!). He even omitted the final for graduating students with a A average. I thought that was awesome. Overall great teacher. =)

Please don't take this course if you are just looking for an elective. Don't take this course unless you are serious about learning about geography. Harsh Grader! Assignments are difficult. Lots of material to study for on test. Lots of Diagrams. Study over 100 countries, cities and rivers for map test and along with alot of chapters for each exam.

He is a very sweet man but the work load is a bit crazy. He gives out alot of extra credits but if you dont answer them right and even if you write a page youll get like half a point... His dirrections on his assignments are also confusing. I had to go one on one with him a bunch of times to understand what he was asking for. You learn alot in this

Good teacher overall. Presents the material well. Lots of chances for extra credit and doesn't punish you for late assignments as long as you hand them in before the end of the semester. Tests are so-so; the hardest part is just memorizing place names. Keeps all his notes/handouts online.

Super fair guy. He reminds me of a white version of Lloyd from Entourage, talks kinda like him too. All in all he's a good professor.
