Puts you on the spot and if you don't know the answer, he will humiliate you in front of the class. Unorganized and never follows the syllabus. Rambled on about topics completely unrelated to class. Dreaded going to class because of how anxious I was about being called on. Will never take another class of his.

Cordero can be unorganized and unfocused. However, he might be the smartest person I have ever met. His lectures are had to follow at time because he talks about many things in shirt period of time. However, there is a lot of genius to his madness. He also has many connections in and out of the school, he will open many doors for you.

Stockton has tons of amazing professors, & Cordero is not one of them. Truly the most unhelpful professor and constantly lost our work. I took the class Puerto Rico Society & Culture (hell). Students were put on the spot & he assumed if you didn't speak Spanish you had no culture & were unintelligent. What a truly vexatious man.

He is the Agnus Dei, If you know what i mean. I took few classes with him and i received all of them an "A". It's true that he is not that well organized, but he is so intelligent and very nice person. I learned so much with him than with others, i recommended him and please don't feel intimidated and don't jugde him in the first day of class.

Cordero is the man. I had him for Puerto Culture & History extremely easy. He really loves teaching about his homeland. The test are easy as hell. He picks a paragraph out of the book you just have to name the page & the section it came from out of the book. Great guy take him if you can!

Being in the Spanish program you have to take this professor. Taught everything about Puerto Rico and NOTHING about what we were actually supposed to learn about. Likes to put students on the spot. He is an intelligent man, but not a very good teacher. Wouldn't recommend if you are not a Spanish Major.

this guy is an ass! he makes you feel stupid and insults you in front of the entire class. do NOT take his freshman seminar it is awful. there are so many books about boring topics!! you can't understand them and he talks in spanish allll the time. he expects you to read the new paper everyday and watch the news. he never discusses the books!

If you are a major in languages please take his classes. Do not listen to people, they expect to take a classes in a 4 year college and do nothing, come on. He is a great professor, and trust me you'll learn a lot in his class. He grades fair, easy A. Do not believe what they say about him. I enjoyed his class.

Do not take car culture in america unless you want a nice mid-day nap. He assigns readings for homework, and then reads them word-for-word in class. We did not cover half of what the syllabus said because we spent most of the time argueing or sharing anecdotes about cars. No grading criteria to speak of. Just horrible in general. Easy A though

Took him for Documentary Photography and I learned more about Puerto Rico then anything else. Wants you to read the book to understand, but then tests you word-for-word on what was in the table of contents. Tests have no common theme to the book. If you are prepared to be bored to death, he is a good teacher to do that.
