He is a good prof, all you have to do is show up to class and take notes. I don't understand why that is so difficult to do for some students. And if you can't handle easy short answer and essay questions; then why are you in college! I found his class interesting, but I thought he could be kind of a jerk sometimes.

he is horrible. he is such a saint for giving us a study guide for the all essay test that takes 8 hours to complete and then another 20 hours to have a clue about the topics. class is very boring. turns a relatively interesting topic into naptime for half of the class. DONT TAKE HIM!!!

This guy is not that bad...he is a little boring but he has some funny stories. The class was very interesting, he has pretty much swam w/all the animals we talked about which is cool! His tests are definitions short answers and essay's but he gives you a study guide with everything u need to know

I love Dr. Hulse. He is one of the best profs I've had here at IUP. Zoo is a hard class and you have to study more than a week for the tests but you will learn a ton. It's sad that he will be retiring.

One of the coolest and funniest profs I've ever had. The class was 100% lecture with slides, which sounds boring, but it wasn't at ALL! His sarcastic comments and funny stories make the class fun and the material memorable. He made me end up LOVING a class that I saw as a stupid requiremnt at first.

Good Teacher!!! I like him alot. He is very sarcastic and likes to add in "shit, damn, and hell" alot. Sometimes Funny. Class is hard. You have to be committed to it and have to study for the test weeks before they are going to be taken. Lab is the most important thing to study. Overall a good guy!
