Excellent instructor, Mindy is the backbone of the VCD Department at EWU. Mindy Challenges you to think for yourself and create your own design identity. I would recommend all VDC students take at least one class with Mindy. You will Not regret it.

All around AWESOME prof! She challenges you and makes you think for yourself. She is very helpful and makes you think with an open mind. Ask for help, and she will first ask what you think about it. then give input. grading is fair. really pushes you to think as a designer and step out of your comfort zone

Her class started hard, but has got to a comfortable pace. She knows a lot and teaches upper level classes also. She is a really good teacher overall and is really helpful. She has the background and teaching ability that shows. She is good at what she does. I would advise you to take Mindy's class anytime possible. Fun and challenging class.

Mindy is a great teacher, but will push your limits of design--in a good way. She's also not the type to 'baby' you with your assignments--she want's you to figure them out. She's difficult, but I would highly recommend taking any class of hers.
