In class you get a packet of notes for a section and she goes over the notes and assigns you homework from the book. You go over the answers to the homework that are not already in the back of the book. She confuses herself when teaching sometimes and is a little sassy when you ask questions. Class is easy but be prepared to teach yourself

She is a very good professor and truly explains everything and helps with the homework in class you didn't understand. There is homework every night on what you learned that day and she'll answer any questions and helps you understand. About 3 tests are given with 20 questions each in this class and the final and there is partial credit on tests

Homework assigned every class, then collected next class.3 tests and a cumulative final. Straightforward and lets you know what will be tested, and does plenty of examples in class, going through the steps each time. If you need a math distribution, or aren't a fan of math, take her class.

Easy A if you just show up to class. I'm terrible at math and she made it understandable. Usually I would finish the homework that she assigned that day before we even left class. Easy tests if you just pay attention, never did any studying. If you're not a math person I would take her.

Comment:

One of the sweetest old ladies I've ever met. She lets you turn in homework late and make up any missed tests, unlike most college professors. The only bad part of the course is that she takes a long time explaining each problem, and sometimes gets confused and gives the wrong answer. Tests are a bit tricky, but not impossible. Textbook is a must!

She will spend the whole class working on 1 problem then realize she did the whole thing wrong. She is really confusing makes up weird ways to do things. I literally slept every class and got B's on all the test because its basic math. The book helps more than her. The test are shot and easy. The final is pretty hard though.

3 tests, 1 accumulative final, hw assigned every class, due whenever you want. If you pay attention and ask questions even over the smallest things, you will do good. Do all of the hw's and don't be late to class, she'll bump your grade up. She's in her 70s, I think she's the best math teacher. The class is not bad,i'd take her again.

She is a really nice person and although class is pretty boring, it's an easy class if you do the work. She's very lenient about assignments and attendance. I wouldn't say I'd take her again, but if you want an nice teacher and an easy class, I recommend her.

I found she was a very nice lady, it's almost impossible to not understand the material in this class, definetly recommended for people who have stuck with algebra throughout high school and didn't take calculus. Tests are easy if you do the homework and pay attention in class. Will explain everything to the last detail, boring class but good prof.

i love her. she always goes over every hw problem people need and makes herself available when students have problems. she even made a retest for the people that failed the test.. come on, you can't say that's not ultra nice! and if your hw is late, it's ok. you can hand it in whenever she'll still give you full credit. don't hate- she's awesome.

I wanted to stab my eyes out with my pen every morning. I did well in the class, but that is because the work itself is simple. She does a lot to make sure you do well though, but for those who arne't morons will want to kill themselves. It is an easy class, and she's a very boring professor, but just go to sleep or something... I do it.

Class was very easy in my opinion. If you go to class and pay attention you will do fine. I didnt do the HW, but she reviews it in class so bring your book and suck it up for 55 minutes it will pay off. Got a 95, 101, 100 on first three tests, havent taken final yet. Never did HW.
