You will learn about researching education reform. Video's are more informative than overall description of the course. Professor grades tough so be on your toes. Not an easy class and would not recommend as your writing intensive unless it is the only option available. Responds fairly quickly to emails. Good luck!

Super boring class, is not what you think is going to be so unless you like history don't take it!. Professor was really nice but she's bland she doesn't keep you interested in the material at all.

Not a very interesting subject but she tries really hard to get everyone involved. Do the readings before class because there are a lot of group activities, especially in the beginning. There is a huge paper, but she breaks it up into 2 drafts and a final which was a life-saver!

The material gets a tad boring, but she is very knowledgeable and makes it easy to understand. If you go to class regularly and participate the quizzes and tests aren't too bad. The paper is a pain, but you have to do it in all of the sections, and Shircliffe provides a lot of support. And she gives extra credit. Overall, great teacher!

Dr. Shircliffe is very knowledgeable and interesting. The class itself was a little boring based on the content, but she is very helpful and willing to work with students. The paper is a pain, but you have to do that in every class. If you attend almost every class, she gives you extra credit which is nice.

Awesome teacher in a not so easy class. The material is detailed and the tests and quizzes are tough, but not a problem if you participate in class and get involved. And of course, the 12-17 page paper is a challenge, but that is in every section. She was extremely helpful, too!

GREAT TEACHER! Class is boring sometimes. quizzes are from the lector and are very easy. 2 papers, grades kinda hard and 12-15 pages. final was a little bit difficult b/c theres soo much material covered and lots of readings, but i didnt read any and got a B. very nice lady and seems to like the subject and care for her students.

Definitely knows what she is talking about. She loves group work. Quizzes are pretty easy; if you pay attention in class you should be fine. Go to class, you will be rewarded if you attend. Two papers: one case study (needed for graduation from COE) and a final paper and the topics are fairly easy to discuss. I would take her class again.

She was an awesome teacher, I would take more classes with her if I could. Her class is set up so if you attend class you will do good. Her quizzes are based on her lectures, and her exams are the same way. She gives you study guides, and grades fairly.

THE CLASS IS SIMPLE. THERE ARE SIX QUIZES THE LOWEST SCORE GETS DROPPED. ALSO, THERE ARE TWO PAPERS THAT ARN'T TOO DIFFICULT. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A SIMPLE CLASS YOU FOUND IT. JUST KNOW THAT SHE LOVES GROUP WORK.
