She is a very nice lady, favors students who turn in work on time/ early and good attendance. If turn in work on time + you're an ok writer you'll get an A. She is very unorganized with things and papers are not clear. Ask various questions for clarification. Not an insane amount of essays and used one of the books once. Don't waste money on them.

Very sarcastic, starts class 5 minutes early all the time and will not let you in. Always jumping around from lesson to lesson. not clear on what she expects. super annoying over all. if you take this class you will regret it.

Unclear in instructions, assigns a lot of work and then only checks some of it. Takes a long time to respond to emails. Refuses to give out A's even if you earned it, starts class 5 min early all the time. Makes you write the same essay a bunch of different times in different formats.

Class was a breeze. No exams, just do the work and you will succeed. There is a group project so be prepared to work with others. The project is the mass of your grade. The grade will consist of a written report along with a presentation. She is usually unorganized so ask questions and then ask again because it will change.

IMPOSSIBLE to get an A. She saw that someone said her class was an easy A and is very bitter about it. Now she wont give out an A no matter how hard you work. Spent 6 hours on paper, was told it was really good by 2 different professors...then got a C- on it from her. BS! useless class.

McCleary is VERY disorganized, so it's important to stay on top of things. If you go to class regularly and do the assignments on time, this class is an easy A. She also allows you to rewrite papers if you get a C or lower. You don't learn a hell of a lot, but its pretty easy, and her classes can be a lot of fun.

nice teacher but very unclear about assignments. She lets you out early a lot and doesn't give a ton of work but one assignment is huge. But i wouldn't recommend her just because she is so unclear

she is a great teacher. took a terrible class-freshman comp-and made it fun. fair grader and will work with you. gives a fair amount of work but is not big on deadlines. nice lady who like to joke and have fun. everyone who has to take an english class should take it with her. really good class and great lady. really enjoyed my english class.

Prof. McCleary is great! Very caring and willing to help you as much as possible. I think it is strange that someone on here said that she drops you if she doesn't like you- she only does this if you don't show up to class! Maybe that person didn't? Take her class if you want to have fun and don't mind participating once in a while.

Mrs. McCleary was one of the worst professors ive ever had. It was all about her. If you speak out in class you get an A, doesntmatter if its relevant to the topic we;re learning because lots of class was talkign about the upcomign election. she was for bush while the class was for kerry & her dogs
