Awesome teacher!! Took her my first semester at State, her papers are super doable and she gives you plenty of time, all narratives. She also assigns journals that are due at the end of the semester, I did them in 2 days because they were easy topics :)

Only a few papers and small quizzes. Don't wait until the last minute, go in to her office hours and she will read and correct your papers. Easy A!! She is super sweet and passionate about teaching and animals.

Writing class so of course there is a lot of reading and writing, but its really easy. Short reading article night b4 class, then questions about your opinion of the article to promote critical thinking. No books. No exams. Journals and feedback put in a folder & turned in @ end of semester. Nothing due right after class so time to work on it later

Honestly, this was a pretty boring class for me. But, I LOVED Brush. She was clear, nice, and always easy to contact. I recommend going to her optional conferences because she really helps you out. There's 3 essays, and I got an A on all of them because at the conference she would tell me what I needed to fix in order to get an A. She's great!

Professor Brush is a great professor! The class consists of inclass reading/writing assignments, 3 essays, 5 journals, & attendance that determine the grade. Conferences are amazing because you not only get a chance for her to assist you but some classes off as well. Show up to class as often as possible (attendance might make or break grade).

Professor Brush was easily one of the best English/Writing instructors I have ever had. The class is ridiculously easy as long as you're willing to show up, do the in class (and a few out of class) writings, and put a decent amount of effort in your essays. In total, it's three essays, five journal entries, and a bunch of in class writings.

Professor Brush leads such an amazing RWS 200 class. 3 papers with great prompts and 5 outside journals that are 2-3 pages. She is a fair grader and wants everyone to succeed. Attendance is required but class is canceled for a week of review for each essay and class often gets out early. TAKE THIS CLASS, you will not regret it!

TAKE THIS CLASS! She is cool, laid back, hardly assigns work, consistently lets class out early, and is a very easy grader. She's also really helpful and engaged with the students! Easiest class of my semester it was such a relief to end up with such a great prof. Do not pass up the chance to take it with her if you can.

Professor Brush makes it very clear what she wants for the essays. Assigned three essays, in-class writing, and journals. In-class writing and journal are turned in at the end of the semester with your final third essay. Prof. Brush is really sweet and caring. Just go to her office hours and conference your essay if you need help.

Professor Brush is great!! She assigns about 5 journals to write, 2 pages each; but grades very fair. Quick in class writings are expected, so go to class. Three main papers, around 2 to 4 pages, one is a cover letter. Nice lady and many conferences, so you get a break from class a few days while others conference. Must Take!!

Great class and professor! She is very nice and laid back. There are 3 essays and one final notebook to turn in at the end of the semester that consists of the 3rd essay along with the in class writings (easy) and the journal entries. She holds optional conferences for a week before peer reviews which are extremely helpful.

Great professor and great class. Final grade is comprised of three essays, in-class writings and short do at home journal assignments. Frequently got out of class early and given plenty of time to complete all assignments. Would highly recommend this class to anyone.

I loved her and thought she was there if you needed it especially with the conferences. I didn't go to any of them though and I did fine. The only thing I would say is that a lot of your grade remains a mystery until your final notebook gets handed in and that bothered my a little.

I am currently in Dr Brush's class and I've never had a college prof or high school teacher who was more useless. She apparently grades off of a different rubic than what she's posted, since I've used the SDSU writing center expert tutors to write and proof my papers. She also gives little to no guidance. I would NEVER recommend her to anyone ever

LOVE BRUSH. She's really easy and laidback. Usually lets you out of class early and each paper gets a week for conference. Conferences are not mandatory, so you could get up to 9 days of no class session in the semester. There's 3 papers and some journal entries that you have to do but they are very easy. Really wish I got her as my 200 professor.

She is a great teacher! Take this class! There are no tests and only 3 essays with a final notebook at the end. Go to office hours for your paper revisions and you will get an easy A on all of them. She grades nicely and if you just show up and keep your stuff in order you will get a good grade. Would take her class again! Strongly reccomend!

This is the easiest class I've ever taken. No tests or quizzes. 3 papers assigned throughout the semester. 3 weeks of class are cancelled (a week before each paper is due) so instead of class she offers optional conferences. You do some class work that is easy to make up that you turn in at the end. That's it. She is soooo nice.

If you want to take a really easy English class I would definitely recommend her. One complaint I have is if you aren't able to get one of the 9 spots for conferences she won't look at you paper and help you. I didn't really understand that. Unfortunately, I didn't learn anything and my writing didn't improve at all. I won't be taking her for 200.

I swear, best english class I've ever taken. If your the person who has a creative mind and somewhat likes to write, then this class is perfect for you. Class always ends atleast 20 minutes early. Grading is very clear and practically an easy A if you know what you are doing. I strongly recommend her class to anyone.

I would definitely recommend her! I am going to take her class for RWS 200. There are 3 essays of the semester and the topics are very open-ended. You also will have 4 journal entries and 3 speech reviews to turn in with your last essay in a folder at the end of the semester. She has conferences for each essay which were VERY helpful.
