Avoid Her! this womans directions flip flop like a politician. she requires more work than i've been required to do in some of my grad level courses, hist 2900 is not a grad level course. she is inconsistent in her lectures and requirements of assignments. what we learned at the end of the semester we should have been told at the begining.

Did not like the class. Whenever you actually thought you knew what was going on, you didn't. Normally I would say if I didn't like or class or do well it just was not my thing, but I was not the only one. Everyone found her confusing and difficult. I am normally not this hard on a professor, but I would never recommend taking one of her classes

She is probably the worst teacher I've had in my life. She is a extremely hard grader on papers, and it is unclear what she wants. Also her exams don't reflect lecture material at all. AVOID THIS TEACHER.

The worst teacher I have EVER had in my LIFE.Where do I even begin, unorganized, RUDE, makes assignments very UNCLEAR to what she wants! You try & get help from her in office hrs like a good student,then she makes you feel like the DUMBEST person who ever walked the planet!She is still in the 1900's! DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS, IT WILL RUIN YOUR LIFE!!

This class seemed interesting enough: Women's History. So sad that she is such a poor professor, because the material is actually interesting. WORST PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD She is stuck on teaching from 1975, all lecture and 1 whole movie in 45 class meetings. She ripped my 6 page paper apart that I spend hours on. Honestly, the worst teacher i have ever had. whatever you do, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS OR ANY CLASS WITH HER! i have never felt so stupid or worthless in my life. she does not care about the students and is the most unorganized and fidgety person i have ever met. i would do anything to have not taken this class!!

I took her Women in US History class and it was so hard! There was so much reading assigned per night, and dense, hard to understand reading. The papers were hard to write to her standards and she grades like an english doctorate instead of a history major. Avoid at all costs.

Dr. Havira inspired me to continue studies in history. She was one of the most helpful and inspirational professors I ever had the joy to encounter. You do actually have to complete the readings and do the work. If you are not willing to that, why are you here? I found her to be extremely knowledgeable and kind to all.
