A good teacher and a nice person. Genuinely cares about the material and her students. Generally an easy grader, but expects a lot of work. eg. assigned a hard take home exam on haloween night. Often puts much more difficult problems on tests and then makes them freeby's if/when no-one can do them.

Barbara is a nice person but she is disorganized, does problems wrong ALL THE TIME, snaps at students when she gets frustrated by her own disorganization, and usually doesn't understand the questions of concerns students bring up. She is one of the better choices for the physics department but only because she is lenient.

A dedicated teacher who expects participation from her students. She is passionate about her subject matter, and is extremely capable and intelligent. Professor Whitten is one of those professors that make you proud of Colorado College.

Had her for Ecofeminism, which was a weird, not that interesting class, but she is so nice and took us on cool field trips and introduced us to many members of the Colorado Springs Community. We had to do community service (10 hrs) and write a paper/make a presentation, but otherwise there was little work and she didn't care if we came to class.
