Honestly, she told me I was going to fail if I didnt change my opinion to hers. She was horrible. She belittles you in class, cuts you off and is a horrible people person. She shouldnt be working in a school. She told me I would fail but I got a B+. No office hours. No time to talk about your grade. Syllabus always changes. Dont take her.

Very interesting professor. Has a ton of knowledge to share, but it is sometimes clouded by her attitude. Syllabus always wrong. Overly opinionated. I only did well because I wrote down exactly what she said and put it in my papers. Only take her if you are eager to learn. You brain will hurt when you leave her class but i felt it was worth it.

Unapologetic. Challenging. Worth it. The concepts are very heavy and the reading materials can be tough, but as long as you put forth genuine effort, she's receptive to it. You need to come to class prepared to discuss, otherwise you will not do well.

If you like being interrupted while speaking, belittled, and called out for any differing opinion you should take Fawzia as a professor. All of her papers should consist of what SHE would say, not your personal opinion, or else you will fail. She also has the worst memory ever and will forget that you handed in a paper and threaten to fail you.

Very frustrating professor. I actually went to her office hours despite how difficult a professor she is and received a lot of help. She ended up boosting my final grade to give me an A. She wants to see your thought process progress and overall wants to push her students. I actually enjoyed her as a professor because I ended up learning a lot.

Fawzia is a tough professor. You should always show up to class prepared or else she'll call you out on it. With that being said, she pushes you to think outside of the box and consider things you've never considered. I think she is open to ideas and discussion, but an open mind is required. I personally love her and would take her again.

Professor Afzal-Kahn was THE WORST. She did not follow the syllabus at all which left the entire class having no idea what was going on. She had a discussion styled classroom, but every time someone stated an opinion that was not mirrored to hers, you were considered wrong. Too vague, didnt know what she wanted. Will never take again. Ever.

Fawzia expects a lot out of her students but if you are willing to do the work, you will learn a lot. I would not say her class is easy, but I would say she is one of the best professors I've ever had.

picked on me everyday. went to drop her course she said, "what? can't hack it?". she made me not care about the work b/c she was always late and then came in a yelled at people. she has no faith in her students and u have to prove urself to her. i learned nothing but fear as a tactic to push people away. never take her.

Fawzia may come off as a little abrasive at first but she really is a wonderful teacher. As long as you do the readings and show her that you care about the work you can do well in her class, and it will be worth it because you learn a lot. Definitely recommed taking her!

She said the 1st day..I can be late, u can't & she is every single class. She is not clear as 2 her assignment..we have 2 ask like 50 questions. If you don't agree w/ her..u better be ready to explain why. She is always rushing & lets the class out early EVERYTIME. Syllabus is ALWAY 2 weeks behind schedule. Amusing outfits!! NO tests! No exams!

Professor Afzal-Kahn is usually atleast 5-10 minutes late to class but gets mad when students are late. Individual and group assignments over the course of the semester. She took attendance for a little while then gave up. She has no sympathy for students. Her class is easy as long as she likes you, AKA do the papers, group work, and participate in
