Dr. Westerman was an outstanding professor and FSU is lucky that he chose to teach there for so many years. He always tried to get smiles and laughs out of everyone while still teaching us so much. I always came out of that class feeling better than when I walked in. Amazing man.

Best professor I have ever had! He will be missed greatly. I've never had a professor as thoughtful and caring as he was. He always tried to make his students smile. I am forever grateful that I had him for Personality Psych. Have a good rest Dr. Westerman.

Okay i'll be the one to say it, Westerman is great but he can be a tough grader. Quizzes are easy plus he gives you a bonus worth 10 points for each quiz. And I didn't think his midterm and final were bad, I thought I did pretty good but I ended up with a B- in the class because of the final and midterm. Take him! Just study hard for midterm&final.

Love this guy! Not easy, not hard. Do the work and you will do fine. He gives bonuses each week - do them and your grade will reflect it. He makes dumb (but funny) jokes and is clearly vested in making sure that you understand the material. Psych of Personality is kind of dry material but he brings it to life.

Social Psych- WONDERFUL class. love prof West. hes the best. very funny. loves his job and really knows his stuff. can make almost any moment related to class. Took him for personality and i can honestly say i learned alot but also enjoyed and looked forward to his class so much..never skipped it, he doesnt make you talk but if you want to you can and theres a quiz every week that are easy if you read the chapter. GREAT GUY!!

Wersterman was awesome. Always helpful, willing to answer any question no matter how many times he has to explain it. Always cracking terrible but hilarious little jokes. I would take his class over in a heartbeat. Read the chapters and the occasional hand-out and you'll be good to go! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!!!!
