He knows what he is talking about. It just depends on how interested you are in the subject matter. A lot of people just interested in journalism won't find this class very interesting -- I found around 2/3rds of it interesting and relevant. You get out of it what you put in.

this guy is boring as dirt. basically if you can endure through boring lectures every time and write a few papers, you'll be okay. I don't think we even had a test in that class. I wrote a really bad final paper and still got a B on it, then he offered to let me revise it to make it better. I didn't.
