REL098 was not supposed to be a difficult class but for some reason his expectations of students vs. Professor Raposa's expectations were different. The co-teaching got pretty competitive at times. Sometimes we were tested on tiny details in the lecture we may have missed writing down since we were supposed to write everything down

I have taken two classes with Professor Wright and he has been a great teacher. He knows what he's talking about and is willing to hear your insight on a reading even though it may be very different than what he thinks. His classes are very difficult. You must do all the readings. I actually found his level one course harder then his 100 level.

He has very high expectations of his students. The readings he gives are very long and hard to comprehend. He is the top man in his field and expects nothing but the best. Very hard grader. Don't take the class unless you expect to spend twenty hours a week on the class.

Professor Wright is amazing. He is one of the smartest professors I know. He expects a lot from his students, as he should, and his classes are very worthwhile. If you have the opportunity to get to know him it will only make the class more enjoyable and rewarding. Lehigh needs more professors like him.

Ben Wright gave me a B+ and an essay full of red marks. Some professors would have given that same paper an A without reading it twice... for that B+ i could not be more grateful. Professor Wright is perhaps the most impressive professor i've met and has influenced me profoundly (though I may not have in the first instance known so).

prof not so bad, class is terrible. it's only a level 22 class and it involved a great deal of work. Reading and quizzes not bad. During th elast couiple weeks of class there are homework assignments, a HUGE final project and then a final. Try to avoid this class if youre looking for an easy grade...it isn't.

ben wright is one of the best people in the world. he truely cares about what he teaches, and even though he may come across as angry and bitter on the inside he's a soft, nice guy. he's very willing to help someone if they need it. if you see him as only a jerk, YOU need to take the blinder off

Wright is by far the most bitter, angry, hostile professor I have ever had. He has it out for Lehigh kids in general, and is unpleasant as a teacher and as a person to sit in front of for 75 minutes. Save yourself from misery and don't take his classes.

tough, opinionated, and very human. First day of class he goes, "if there is a God, strike me down with lightening right now!" which he offered up as proof of God's non-existence. I liked him. He is what a professor should be.

Excellent all-around. Lectures very interesting, both in terms of material presented and teaching style. Genuinely cares about students and demands true effort. Moderate reading/writing in most classes. Very fair grader. Loves ice hockey, but not the B&W.

I like him - and I agree with the way he teaches. I don't have blinders on, I just see the point in what he is saying. You know by the 5th day of class if you'll like him - if you don't, drop the class because hatred will get you nowhere in life.

Wonderful teacher. Very knowledgeable and easy to get along with outside of classroom. Rel 112 is his area of expertise and the best course to take with him if you actually want to learn, which is kinda what college is about.
