Dr. Betty is a wonderful teacher. Her lectures can be a bit boring. Participating in discussions makes them more interesting. Her tests are good. She gives you a choice between essay and objective tests. She lets you argue for extra points and earn extra credit. You can easily get an A if you show up, take notes, participate, and study.

She is a GREAT Teacher I'm a female and read some other writing on her and they must have NOT STUDIED so shame on you. She gives study guides if you study it you will be successsful. SHE IS A REMARKABLE HUMAN BEING and very open minded. She will teach you things you will take with you forever. BORING? Never,INSPIRING,YES!

Betty can be boring, but she is very helpful if you have any questions about the material. Also, all of our tests (even the final) ended up being take-homes. I would recommend her if you're taking it through-out the week and only have to listen to her for an hour or so. Not on an evening where you're sittting there from 6-8:50

I am an A student usually (and I'm a female), but I can't seem to get an A in her class. Perhaps because her grading scale is above 92 for an A. Her lectures are dry, and I always want to just fall asleep, or I'm glancing at the clock every 5 minutes. B-O-R-I-N-G! No class discussions, it's just her at the front sitting, and talking.

one of the worst teacher's ive ever had, its not a good subject in the first place but she makes it so much worse with her liberal feminist bias, if she does not like you(if you dont pay attention or go ot class) you will not get a good grade, i got A's on every paper and passed all the tests and she still gave me a D. I had a blast in her class. She is a good teacher. Let the students talk and listened to what we had to say. Tests were either take home or open notebook. She also gave a detailed study guides. Encouraged students to get together and talk about the issues.Got an A.

Bullock is nice, but that is about the only good thing about the class. Her lectures are incredibly boring, and she treats the entire class as though they were 5, I don't even think that my kindergarten teacher acted like that. Her tests are incredibly subjective, the course is a joke.

Prof. Bullock is a hard grader, but it is based upon mostly your ability to back up your opinion. She is of course biased towards her own opinion, but who isn't? She is there to help you learn, she has lots of information and encourages group discussions. Excellent teacher, expects effort!

she is a very hard grader, I would not suggest her. she's way too happy and excited about topics and talks to the class like it's a bunch of 6 year olds. you must attend to get a decent grade. I got a D and went probably 2/3 of the time. so boring you just don't wanna go. also too much group work.
