Having made it through vet school a decade ago now, there are still physiology principles that I remember best simply because Dr. Roeder had such lively descriptions of diseases and physiology. Her classes were often difficult, but doable. There are a few professors that change your life, and Dr. Roeder was that professor for me.

Dr. Roeder makes up for her lack of height with her flare. I don't know about other classes but this one, a guest lecture class, was very easy. She doesn't really explain things super clearly all the time (it's a bit like the fire hose effect) but at least there won't be a lot of surprises for vet school after you've taken this class.

She is CRAZY! (but in a good way). Such an awesome teacher! Goes into depth way more than other professors. She is one of the best teachers to prepare you for the real world, and will always do everything she can to help you.

Hilarious and very intelligent. Highly disorganized when it comes to time, but I guarantee you won't find a more helpful or knowledgeable professor.

Dr. Roeder is AMAZING! I loved her! She incredibly funny and very intelligent. The class itself is difficult in learning the basic routines, but once you understand what you are doing it is really neat. The whole class is hands on experience.

This class is basically 6 hours a week being trained as a vet tech to assist Dr. Roeder and Dr. Garrett (the university vet) in clinical procedures for animals from a local shelter. Dr. R is AWESOME--her whole mission in life is to help students learn as much as possible & be successful. If you want to be a vet, take this class!

I love Dr Roeder! She will bend over backward to help you. That being said this is still a TOUGH class. Be prepared for lots of hard work & lots of fun at the same time. Stay after to talk to her if you don't understand something and be SURE to use the TA labs & you'll do fine. Oh & EVERYONE fails the tests. Don't worry she raises everyone's grade.

Dr. Roeder is great! one of my favorite teachers. She is very smart, so get ready to learn. I have enjoyed both classes I took from her. (she is not a smile get an A kind of teacher though!)

I love Dr. Roeder. She is funny if you listen to what she is saying. Sometimes she mumbles and you cant understand what she is saying but she is a lot better than Dr. Hatch. Inbio 380 is not easy but very interesting.
