Classes are pretty much student lead the whole semester. Get out early often. Pretty awkward dude, lots of reading assignments. Every test is all essay questions that takes a lot of writing for a decent grade. many hand cramps from his test lol. Lots of papers and extremely tough grader.

This professor is terrible. I am graduating soon and this is the worst professor I have ever had. It feels like he does not care about you or how you do if you go to him for help. He does not reply to emails and is a super hard grader. If you do not do well on one assignment there is no way to make it up. I WOULD NEVER TAKE ANOTHER CLASS WITH HIM.

He's a good teacher, and for an English teacher, doesn't assign much work. I think he gets that we're all a bunch of mathy sciencey nerds stuck in an English class. I actually enjoyed this class. Yes, almost all of the assignments are essays. Get over it. As long as you actually read the works to the point of comprehension, you'll do fine.

Nice laid back person and hilarious. Perfect for someone like me who doesnt care about english. U get early most of the time, is clear, and for someone like me who sucks a lot at english, a solid B for doing fair amount of work. Great class

Extreme lack of communication. Not quick in replying to emails and questions. Unfair grading and inconsistent; even when work is done and submitted. Late to return grades. Extremely impersonal. Lack of feedback on discussion board post each week. This is my fifth professor since attending FIT and by FAR the worst professor I had dealt with thus far

Good guy, willing to help as long as you try. That being said, do NOT get on his bad side. He's very dry, decent sense of humor, though. Like most classes, do the work, no problems. You DO need to study a little for his test, though.

Yeah, he's pretty bland, but he tries. Nice guy, but knows that none of us actually want to be in his class. Almost always lets the class out really early, and we do next to nothing in each class. Easy A if you know how to write and can speak proper english.

A great guy as long as you do well in the class. If you start slacking, not showing up, or disrespecting him, he won't like you all that much. He grades papers relatively hard, but his tests and quizzes are not bad as long as you study. He is not very animated and he has a very dry humor.

Laid back alright guy, is a dick and discouraging when you do bad and nice and uplifting when you do good. Getting out of class 20 minutes early is always nice but I really learned next to nothing in this class. I wouldn't mind getting him again. He does try and help you though. just don't get on his bad side.

Yeah, He has the personality of carpet lint... He always lets class go early, which is nice, but grades papers too hard. Pointless class, too... Honestly, you show me an engineer that needs to know how to disect poetry and ill show you an engineer that hates his job.
