his tests are pretty tough, you really have to read and memorize his notes from class and details in text book. not as bad as the other reviews make him out to be. if you do well with memorizing facts and take good notes, you'll do fine

Nice guy, organized, and clear. Unfortunately he has a really dry subject which consists of defining things which are clearly common sense re-worded into technical terminology to add confusion. Tests are multiple choice, with 90% of questions adding a multiple-answer choice like D)A&B. Be prepared to be extremely bored and learn nothing new.

Do not take this teacher. Tests are so hard! The curve was crazy 50% on a midterm was like a C. But like 3 got in the 90 percent range. Save your time and take another teacher... Transfer schools if you have to.

He is not a bad guy, but his exams make you hate the class. The Exam is extremely HARD! You have to RRRREEEAAADDD the TEXTBOOK carefully and remember almost everything there. The lectures are boring too.The only thing you have to do is listening and writing what he said because 1/3 of the exam is from the lecture.

Whenever you ask him a question he says "I think the authors meant this, or the authors meant that when they wrote this..." HE WROTE THE BOOK! I don't think he remembered what his original intensions were. He also wears a lot of pink shirts and laughs at things that aren't funny. He gave me the first F I've ever received on a paper.

Very fair teacher. Class got to decide on what the tests, participation,..etc. were weighed. Tons of group activity and some fun games. Tests a bit tricky, alot of terms/details. Obviously enjoys teaching.

straight foward and easy. You study and you WILL pass. No homework and the text is easy to understand and remember. And he has a 10 page paper due at the end of the semester. If your a SLACKER then you will fail no doubt, but if you put forth a good effort you'll get a B or A

he is really a great teacher. his tests are tricky, but if you read the 2 chapters(no more than 20 pages) a couple of times before the test, you would do okay. attendance is mandatory because it is at least 10% of your grade.

Even though I didnt do well b/c of my own problems, take this guy. He is a great teacher and his class is NOT hard. He has his own book and every midterm is based on two chapters only. However, the class decides how they want to be graded.

Man i don't get the people who talk ill about this guy. He is straight foward and the class makes perfect sense. The tests are tricky but if you STUDY it's a cake...the chapters are no more then 20 pages each...he lets you decide how you'll be graded i suggest 4 tests(17.5% each) 20% paper 5%peer grade 5% teacher grade and don't delay on the paper
