I usually do well in my psychology classes without having to study too much, but I found that this class took up quite a bit of my time. Midterms are based off of lecture material and textbook readings (about half-and-half). Professor Capitanio is a great lecturer, but his exams are way too specific. Overall, easy B, hard A.

Capitanio is a great prof. If you want an A in the class you have to read the assigned readings and pay attention to detail. Half of the exams are from the reading, half from the lecture. You have to attend class to get the lecture notes or get the "old" classical notes. (He doesn't even tell you that they are available, but they're a great help.

The sexy italian professor knows his stuff. He provides us with past exams in which many questions show up on the next exams. Youve got to be lazy to not get an A in this class. Plus, he gives you an opportunity to earn extra credit. And, as a bonus, he doesnt do + or - when giving out grades. If you get a 90%, thats an A 88% is a B+ though.

He focused way too much on the Physiology aspect of psychology. That was not interesting at all. I felt like I was back in my old Anatomy class. Otherwise very smart man and he knows his subject well.

He offers extra credit. Test come a lot from older test but to get that "A" you must also read. Honestly, I think that the class focuses way too much on the biological aspects of health psy.The subject is so boring, and I have taken psy class with a biological focus...but this was like pulling teeth. Fair class...boring lectures.

His tests can be very hard and he expects you to do the reading, but I was hardly ever bored in his class. His tangents are interesting and he knew pretty much the answer to every question. I loved his lecturing style.

Interesting class, obviously loves what he is talking about. Explains things in a very clear manner using outlines. Tests pretty straight forward although make sure you do all the reading as half the test questions are specific quesitons from it.
