Bob is by far the least professional or accountable Prof I have ever had. He changes due dates, doesn't show up to class on time or at all, and refuses to give feedback. On our first midterm he said it would be on chptr 1-6 it was on chpter 1-8. rescheduled our lecture time without asking. Changed lecture day mid semester. Terrible. Avoid him 100%.

Outright Terrible. You will teach yourself everything, and get not help or feedback when you ask for it.

Don't be fooled by the average rating here. Seems to have been a decent instructor in the past. Not anymore. Doesn't teach. Always late. Ignore him in all aspects. View lectures online and get help from peers. Bob will never be there for you. Honestly I have no idea how this guy has a job still. The worst I've ever seen

Just outright terrible. Professor would be an inaccurate title for Bob. Supervisor would be a better fit. Don't expect to be taught anything by Bob, if you're taking a class with him, prepare to teach yourself everything. Further, don't expect any feedback on your work as it will not be marked at all. Equivalent to an online course.

Horrible!! Expect you to learn everything on your own. Lectures are boring and tests are tough. Reply to emails after weeks.

He doesn't know how to teach. He expects us to learn the entire course by ourselves. He doesn't explain anything well. He gives 2 mid terms. The second one is pretty much a final, and you need at least 60% to pass the course. It's near impossible to get good mark in that class. I got 95% in tests but because I got below 60 the 95 doesn't count

DO NOT get Bob as a teacher. He does not respect you - He talks way too much, and he knows it. He will look for ways to call you out for not listening. I don't know anyone who enjoys his class, and frankly it looks like a conspiracy that he has positive reviews. Please listen to my review, and if you know how to deal with Bob, let me know

Took CIS 192 with Bob. Our class was scheduled from 8:30 - 12:10. He couldn't make that time and decided to cut the class time in half. We only got half of the time with him, and made us study half of the course ourselves. The course was so hard, and he had to cut his lecture time. Plus, he's got a rubbish attitude. Don't take him again.

I hate to rate him low, since he seems like a really nice guy. It just didn't feel like he had any idea how this class was supposed to be structured. 80% of the curriculum and tests were done at home, because we had no time in class. Not totally his fault, but I'm not paying for a chance to teach and quiz myself. Also, so done with Netacad.

Lectures are long but that's because there's a lot of theory in networking. Not sure if that could be effectively reduced and include some actual in class packet tracer activity along with the actual lab time we get ; that would be nice.

An awesome guy! Even though he just taught us just from CISCO, he still gave us a lot of useful commands. Also we could through rewrite to get a better mark! Can't wait to take another class of him!

This teacher has the worst tests that you can imagine, questions that no person should bother learning or know. Gives assignments and tests with information not covered in the textbook, expect to spend a lot of extra time as no extra resources are given as well. Do yourself a favor and choose a different teacher, others grade much more professional

Good professor who is clearly very knowledgeable and interested in the networking classes he teaches. Easy to talk to and get along with. Can be a bit dry to listen to for hours, but not too bad either. Marks fairly but expects you to know your stuff and to be up to date. If you skip readings you are very likely to suffer for it on tests.

hes a nice guy but this class is hard its basically two classes in one lots of quizzes and a few tests, if you do your work and read a lot you should do fine. I never read or anything that's probably why i found it hard.

Bob is not interested in people passing a course; he's interested in teaching you the course, helping you understand the material. Empathetic with students. Quite flexible/reasonable. Gets to know the students. Great with email responses. Good sense of humor. Brings context to course content. Requires effort but one of the best instructors.
