I had him for a turbo. Not the best finance professor, most people learned more in their intro classes. It is more online based and requires a lot of learning on your own time. If you want a more engaged traditional class, find another section.

Parisi is arrogant and careless to a point where on the first day he stated "Don't bother me outside of class." If you want help or clarification, he will not help you. He then will highlight you in front of the class for being dumb. He has his funny moments, but they do not shine past his awful teaching and lack of respect for his students. Awful

Take this class with Bob, he is a great man! Always a good laugh in class & he teaches a lot of material but is very fair. All tests are online with open book. A MUST take!!

Class was pretty optional, just an email gets you long way. Not many quizzes- good amount of HW rarely ever checks. Tests mostly open note, open book, and also allowed laptops for excel stuff. Final in class, open note, along with laptops. Canceled class sometimes, was easy to get along with, hard to understand, but couldn't have asked for better

Parisi is a great guy. If you want to take the class for an easy grade, he's the right professor for you. However, if you actually want to learn, don't take him. He will not teach you anything and you won't retain any information

Parisi is a great guy. Loves to joke around and really loves to teach. Stay on his good side, go to class and do your work. If you like to hide in class, get ready for a major shell shock, because he is smart, he will find you and he drag you out of your shell very quickly; so you are way better off participating and being prepared.

Not a bad teacher. He likes to pick a few kids to pick on all year. Exams aren't to hard. Acts like he hates everyone in the class but now and then tells us all how much we mean to him. I'd definitely take him again, the class was pretty good and not to demanding or hard.

This guy is hilarious not due to his sense of humor but rather his general being. I attended class twice and still got an A. He has no attendance policy or real grading structure. He does care for his students and apparently will send you money in the mail.

Parisi is actually a pretty good teacher. Sometimes he can be unclear, but if you ask him he will go into more detail about what is talking about. You learn a decent amount in class, but sometimes you feel he is not as prepared as he should be. I would recommend him, you will learn and probably get a good grade if you are not dumb.

For this online "enhanced" class, you will basically be teaching yourself the material. Work is assigned first, with some of the problems reviewed later in class. Parisi means well & is an easy grader, but homework & take-home exams take forever since you never learn the methods before doing the problems! Also he's pretty harsh when in a bad mood.

Parisi tops the list of worst profs I've ever had. He cancels Saturday classes because he doesn't feel like holding them, refuses to review difficult problems, & literally yells at students for asking questions. Even lectures the class on how it is "not my job to show you this or that." Only take his course if you can teach yourself the material.
