Graduated from Furman, so she can relate to how we feel as students here. She is very clear in her lecture. You will write a lot of notes, however. Format of her tests is always the same, and her final exam is not cumlative.

You'll be taking LOTS of notes but she's a really good lecturer! Her tests are completely from the notes in class - i never had to open the textbook. Class time goes by fairly quickly and I had her for winter term.

Hey Western Civ. class is awesome. She moves quickly and you take alot of notes. But, she's passionate about what she teaches, and she's very thorough. I would DEFINITELY take her class. I learned a fair amount. She's a fair grader, and she will proof all of your papers.
