Comment:
Dr. Seebach is very nice and kind, but will not grade any exams or assignments on a timely manner. We have taken 3 exams. Only the first exam is graded, and the second was taken FOUR weeks ago. We have 7 homework and assignments, where he only assigned 2 and has graded one. There is no way to tell where you stand in the class and it is finals week!

Brad is somewhat monotone, and it can be hard to pay attention at times. However, he records his lectures, which is VERY helpful in my opinion. I recommend rewatching all the lectures to be successful. He recommends reading the textbook to earn above a B on tests, but I did not and still got an A on 2/3 exams.

Dr. Seebach is a very lecture-heavy professor. He is very intelligent, so he talks to his students at the same level, which is hard to understand sometimes. He is always willing to meet in office hours. Very slow at grading things. This class is rigorous, and a lot of outside work is needed. Basically, read the book and find a good study group.

Brad: if you're reading this please go slower and add some enthusiasm in this course. After all, you are very intelligent and enjoy this material so have fun with it! I am trying not to be negative because he is a sweet and intelligent man, but I have never felt so discouraged and stupid in my life whenever I asked a question. Tough bite to chew

Professor Seebach was one of the worse professors I have had so far. He makes lectures very boring, the tests were nothing like the lectures and he was very unorganized. I felt like I had to teach myself everything outside of class and he was very unhelpful. Besides the first 2 tests, the only grade I ever saw was my final grade on my transcript.

He is super nice and wants to help you in any way he can. He does grade things rather slowly but he seems to be a pretty laid back grader. You need to use your textbook for chapter quizzes online but they aren't bad since you have 3 tries to improve your grade. Tests are not bad if you prepare for them! Lectures are recorded as well

His lectures can sometimes feel like sitting in a medical school class. But, once you get used to his teaching style, it isn't that bad. He is willing to make plans for success with you and sit down and make sure you are doing your best. He doesn't want you to fail.

TERRIBLE professor! He makes you feel stupid, won't answer questions, MONOTONE voice in a warm classroom, you teach yourself, will skip over material but still tests you on it, reads from slides, doesn't explain material, a waste of time to go into office hours, no review time before exams, assigns writing assignments on LAST DAY OF CLASS.

SOOOO monotone, couldn't pay attention in his lectures. Very nice guy and knows a lot, but I probably wouldn't attend his lectures if participation wasn't a thing. I self taught through the posted slides, textbook, and youtube and did fine.

He is a nice guy and is very willing to help his students. Most of the time his power points are just book diagrams, which often isn't very helpful because he doesn't explain them well. Regardless, his tests aren't too hard and he often adds extra credit questions which help your test grade. If you read the book you should be fine.

This is my second time taking A&P 1. Even though it is a summer course, my grades have improved exponentially. I think Seebach is a great prof. He willingly offers help and is available to students. His voice is monotone but you can think think of it as "soothing." I would take him again. His exams are very straight forward.

Taking Anatomy over the summer seemed an intimidating task at first. However, Dr. Seebach's lectures were organized and ran smoothly. He was able to answer any question with more insight than probably wanted. He is an incredibly intelligent professor that forces you to really understand the material. He is monotone quite often but was great anyway.

Do not expect any assignments or exams to get back in a timely matter. This guy is so lazy that he makes his student's grade half the exams. As a senior at UWL, he's been the worst bio professor I've had. He takes the images from the textbooks and attempts to lecture about them. He's really arrogant. Any questions asked are dumb; don't even try.

He is super intelligent, but often lectures as if this is medical school. He does not grade things in a timely fashion so who knows how well you're doing throughout the semester. Seemed impatient when you didn't understand something right away and came off condescending.

Most of his lectures consist of images directly from the text. Exams take a very long time to get back, which is weird, considering the students grade half of it. He assumes you read the text before lecture and can talk way over your head. I didn't learn much from him, and can't recommend. And yes, he is very monotone like everyone says.

Amazing and genuine guy but speaks at a level that's pretty dry and difficult to comprehend to get the necessary information from. Make time to read and fully comprehend the textbook chapters. Can be pretty unorganized, but allows some leeway.

Dr. Seebach is a really nice, funny guy. Sometimes he just has troubles getting his message across. He knows neurophysiology so well, that he sometimes forgets to dumb it down for us newbies. Lectures can sometimes get a bit boring, as he has a really deep, soft, monotone voice. It's perfect for falling asleep to, just not for interactive learning.

Great professor. His exams are easy if you come to class, take notes, and skim book pages. Is very clear on what he expects his students to know. Learned a lot during the course and am taking him again for bio 313!
