Funny and usually pretty nice. Good explainer and has no trouble re-explaining things. Puts slides from class on line to use later. Sometimes makes things more complicated than they really are. No real form of homework so class time is crucial.

I had her for a TA during my undergrad years. She took an otherwise boring lab setup and not only helped us learn, but got us to enjoy the subject. Incredibly helpful and easy to talk to during office hours.

Took bio 220, Micro, and Food Micro with her and enjoyed it all. She's a great advisor and completely understands the student perspective, more than you would think at first. she's a lot of fun and is really easy to talk to. Great professor, very clear and keeps lectures interesting

She is the best prof I've had here! She's energetic, caring, and very smart. The class has lots of reading and the tests are hard, but if you don't get behind on the reading then it's easy to do well. She is very clear and makes the information understandable however there is a huge volume of info, which made studying hard. All in all, great class!

She's the best teacher I've had in all of my 4 years at Allegheny. She gets her students to care more about learning than grades, but is very fair in the grading. She is invested in each of her students. Truly great teacher and person. I wish I had taken more classes with her.
