I took this class online over the summer. I think he is great. Defiantly more willing to help than other teachers I've had. He is really smart but is not a loud energetic person. The tests are a little hard, but if you read the book you will do fine. The paper is easy because he breaks it down through out the class. If you work hard its an easy A!

One of the greatest professors that I've ever had. So helpful- very approachable and willing to look over critiques before you submit them. Doing them suck, but you learn a lot. Very interesting material!

You really learn how to write a research paper in his class. He breaks it down for you so that you can spend a lot of time on each section. He's hard to please because he wants advanced work, but he is very willing to get you there. He keeps class interesting and he is a very kind man.

On the one hand, a great guy who is passionate about the material he teaches. On the other hand, has trouble conveying information to the students, is more interested in studies then actual textbook information, and his tests are challenging with little hint about what exactly is on them. He does curve them. Take it if you're a good test taker.

I DREAD going to health psych..lectures are boring..most of the notes comes from studies. Tests are somewhat difficult, you NEVER know what is going to be on them. I thought it would be a fairly easy class...guess I was wrong! Wish he would give study guides for his tests that's for sure!

This class was hard, complicated, and unfortunately a requirement for my major. He isn't the worst professor, but there are better. You have a HUGE term research project AND a final. His tests are pretty hard. My classmates agreed that he is too smart to teach this class. If this fits best into your schedule then take it, otherwise look elsewhere.

He is really willing to work with you if you're having trouble with the project (which is a HUGE part of this class, work on parts of it all semester!) I'm glad I took it with this guy, highly recommended since psych majors have to take it with someone.

very helpful. very well organized. very understanding. probably one of the best professors I've had yet. attendance isn't required but is very helpful for the midterm and final. By the time you turn in your final paper everything is already looked at because the project is so well broken down.
