Haggard knows his stuff. You're going to have to work your butt off for his class, but once you get past the first 2 tests and lab reports, the rest is smooth sailing. Read the textbook. I got A's on all the tests when I read the book, and the one test that I didn't read, I got a low B. Really picky with lab reports -get former lab reports to use.

LOVE HIM! He knows so much about genetics its unreal. He's incredible. But I can't believe he's about to retire. Take his class while you still can!

This class was horrible. He really knows his stuff, however, he expects you to already have a knowledge of genetics. He gets really excited and starts speaking too quickly to follow. If you talk to him outside of class, he can be helpful, but you will probably leave feeling unintelligent. It's a difficult class. I recommend taking it elsewhere.

his class is hard because you need to study and learn a lot from it. if you can get an A on his exam then you'll really know the material. go to his office to ask him questions on lab reports. but he might laugh at you if you're wrong, but he will tell you how to fix it. the two lab reports you write show how well you know the experiments.

He is an outstanding teacher, and a teddy bear in person. His genetics class is HARD, but if you take the time to talk to him, and read the F'ing book, you will do fine. People who do not like him are lazy. Haggard does not take**** from anyone.

He is my favorite teacher. People seem to take him to seriously and be intimidated. He was always there to help in his office and I learned the most from his classes. He tries so hard to get students involved. A great teacher!!!!

He's confusing in class becasue he is so unprepared. He is a bad, mean, horrible teacher. Save yourself...take genetics with someone else. His tests do not evaluate what you know, and he is unhelpful. Worse, he plays favorites.

I had this guy for Cell and Genetics; they are my worst experiences of my Hendrix years. He is arrogant, and worse, he doesn't care about his students. Very close to evil. Keep Away if you can!

This professor was one of the worst I ever had. He never taught what was in the book, only what happened to be on his mind each day. Plus he implied that overweight people were stupider than average-sized people.
